5) What is your fuel policy?
Standard: “full to full”. Return the car with the same fuel level; otherwise, missing fuel plus a refueling fee will be charged.
6) Is there a mileage limit?
Depending on the offer: unlimited mileage or a daily limit. Extra kilometers are charged per the price list. International rentals may include special limits.
7) Can I modify or cancel a confirmed booking?
Yes. Conditions depend on your rate plan (some promotional offers are non-refundable) and the required notice period stated in your confirmation.
8) Do you deliver or collect cars at Satu Mare Airport or other addresses?
Yes, on request and with confirmed booking. Airport or after-hours fees may apply.
9) What happens if I return the car late?
After the agreed time, hourly fees or an extra rental day may apply. Without an approved extension, additional penalties may be charged.

Yes. The additional driver must be listed in the contract and meet the same conditions. An extra fee may apply.
11) Can I drive outside Romania?
Only with prior written approval, usually within the EU/EEA. Mileage limits, extra fees and higher deposits may apply.
12) What should I do in case of accident, damage or breakdown?
Call 24/7 roadside assistance and inform Rentsilvania immediately. For accidents, fill an amicable report or get a police report as required.
13) Do you provide 24/7 roadside assistance?
Yes, 24/7 throughout Romania as stated in the rental terms.
14) Do you issue invoices? Are prices VAT included?
Yes, we issue tax invoices. Prices include VAT unless stated otherwise.
15) What payment methods are accepted?
Card (Visa/Mastercard), online payment, cash or bank transfer. Payments are made in RON at the bank’s selling rate on the day of the contract.
16) Can I rent without a credit card?
Usually a card in the renter’s name is required for pre-authorization. Contact us for alternatives (restrictions or higher deposit may apply).
17) What extras do you offer (child seat, GPS, snow chains, Wi-Fi)?
Depending on stock: child seat/booster, GPS, snow chains, portable Wi-Fi. All are optional paid extras per day or rental.
18) Are cars equipped with winter tires?
Yes, seasonally, according to Romanian law (or all-season compliant tires).
19) Who pays fines, parking fees and the vignette?
All fines and parking fees are the driver’s responsibility. The Romanian road vignette is usually included; an administration fee may apply for fine processing.
20) Should I return the car clean? Is smoking allowed?
Return the car in a clean condition. Excessive dirt may result in a cleaning fee. Smoking inside is strictly prohibited.
21) Can I choose a specific car model?
Bookings are made by vehicle class. We aim to provide your preferred model but may deliver an equivalent or higher class depending on availability.
22) Can I travel with pets?
Yes, using appropriate carriers and seat protection. Cleaning fees may apply for odors or excessive dirt.
23) Can I return the car in another city (one-way)?
Yes, with prior approval. A one-way fee applies depending on distance and availability.
24) When are damages not covered by insurance?
Examples: driving under influence, unreported incidents, misfuel, damage to rims/tires/windshield/interior (if not covered), smoking, or gross negligence.
25) What happens if I refuel with the wrong fuel type?
Considered misuse and not covered: towing, tank cleaning, repairs, immobilization and refueling are billed to the renter.
26) When is the deposit released after return?
After a clean inspection, release is initiated; the bank may unblock the funds within 2–10 business days.
27) Do prices vary by season or demand?
Yes, rates vary depending on season, demand and availability. Book early to secure the best price.
28) Do you offer delivery or collection at hotels or offices?
